Boom Boom Afridi earning over Rs.100mn from ads and modeling

Karachi: With trend of working in commercial ads increasingly affecting performance of cricketers, Shahid Afridi tops the list by generating Rs. 100 million from modeling assignments.
A report from NCA Lahore says that seven players of Pakistan team have signed contracts for modeling earning them millions every month.
Former skipper and dangerous striker Boom Boom Afridi also booms in generating money from multinational firms and local firms as compared to his teammates.
Afridi is doing the most number of ads and in this regard he is likely to visit Singapore, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Probably income from these ads has made him able to buy a new luxury house where he would be shifting soon.
Shahid Afridi has signed contracts with Cola firm, a cellular company, a shampoo firm, a cosmetic company, a footwear firm, a watch making firm, some private banks and construction companies making a hefty amount of over Rs. 100 million.
Former captain Younis Khan is second on list by earning Rs. 27.5 million during 2012. He has signed contracts with a cellular company, a clothing firm and a private.

  1. Punjab University is conducting the entry test from July 12, for the academic year 2012.



    The pre-admission entry test forms for the admissions of the academic year 2012 will be available from the concerned departments and education centres who have chosen for the entry test for BS, MA, M.Sc or equivalent programs from July 12, 2012.



    The last date for the submission of entry test forms to the respective departments, centres, Institutes or colleges is 10th July, 2012.



    During submission of entry test forms the departments, centres, institutes and colleges will remain open on Saturday July 7, 2012.



    The result of the entry test shall be available on Punjab University website www.pu.edu.pk as well as on the notice boards of the concerned departments, centres, institutes and colleges on August 15, 2012.
